Kylie is oh so Wo-wow-wow!

The New Kylie album has finally made it onto my iPod and good God, does it need some editing. The 13 songs are either complete hit or a total miss. I kinda like the 'Fever'-Kylie we hear on some dancy electro songs, but sometimes she just kills the songs by raising the BPM or trying to do a slow song and try to sound like Janet Jackson did on her last album. When I read the reviews I was expecting a Goldfrapp/Roisin Murphy kinda album, but in many ways it's just the old Kylie. You got the funky dance tracks from Fever, the pop songs from On A Night Like This and the sultry songs from Body Language. Her current hitsingle Two Hearts opens the album, but is nothing like the rest of the album. Kylie already leaves her rockchick image at the door for the second track Like A Drug, which is one of the best tracks on the album, along with Speakerphone, The One and -the amazing- Wow. Call me gay, but the dance anthem Kylie is still my favourite Kylie...
